Exhaust replacement in Pta

Hi
Noise Boys replaced my pajero's center silencer earlier this year with a smaller, but much noisier unit. I'm fed up with the noise, particularly between 2000 and 3000 rpm as its a constant and annoying hum. I spent some time in a very quiet 3.5l Prado and realised how bad mine was. I know nothing about exhausts, but something tells me they fitted the wrong silencer.
Now the big question: What do I do and where do I go in Pretoria to have it properly done?

Pierre I am sure the Prado still has it's CAT converter with a non freeflow system - that is possibly why it is so quite.
I am not sure about yours though. Have a look underneath your car and count the boxes - see the size and position, but also note where the pipe enters the box and where it exits. The pic below shows a freeflow box.
With a non freeflow system the pipe will enter the box at one point but exit it at another - not in line with one another.
Try De Graaf in Pretoria North.

Pierreandre,
Cloyd.

Two people with the same advice! Must be good advice then
I'm pretty sure its a free-flow silencer based on your description. This is after I explained to the person in charge that it should be quiet.
De Graaf it is then.
