OK. My car, a 2002 DiD, is coming up for its 187500 km oil service which I will probably do myself.

Which filter would you guys recommend? GUD, FRAM or OE?

Which oil? Most will scream Delo 400, I know, but any other and what viscosity?

Is it only the engine bash plate that must be removed for this operation?

get oil filter from dealers - it's cheaper than other brands anyway.

Use delo 400 - it's proven - why take a chance?
