Anybody fitted an aftermarket water pump to their 4M41 engine? I had one fitted and have had overheating problems. This was part of a re-build project and have had overheating when engine under heavy load. Have replaced the viscous fan, thermostat and radiator cap with genuine parts.

So now it seems to be either the radiator or the water pump that is the problem. Has anybody had similar overhating problems after they fitted a non-genuine mitsubishi water pump?

I fitted an aftermarket water pump (Bought from Midas) about 1 and a half to two years/50 000kms ago - when the original one's bearings seized up.

So far I haven't had a single problem.

Thanks for the comment. I have fitted a GMB and it seems to be grafting well.
