This is my diesel injector after running 30'000km on 200:1 2 stroke oil mix in my diesel - mostly 500ppm
I wiped it with an oily cloth so looks a bit shiny but pay attention to the lack of carbon deposits.
This is not an argument for it or against it (although you are welcome to carry on and flog a dead horse) it is just an observation for you to make up your own mind to use it or not.
Note : This was taken on macro setting on the camera. The holes are so small that SWAMBO couldn't see it with her naked eye - she doesn't need glasses.

But, thanks for the reference. I stuck a dolop of 2SO in the 3.8's tank during a quick run to the eastern highveld and back on Sunday (just over 400km return at 13.6L/100km). Hopefully it got rid of some carbon. The rest will be removed on the long run to Namibia in April.
