Hi people
I am in the middle of COR for my Gen 1 Pajero. It failed on lower ball joints and drag link on the steering. I have already contacted Mitsubishi in Centurion but feedback is taking time and I am running out of time to get this done before the 14 day period is up. I have read here that certain early colt bakkies share components with the Gen 1. If so does anyone know of the ball joints being the same? Any advice would be helpful

I see you are in Newastle, a bit far from Pretoiria but maybe a call to these folks can shed some light in the subject. I got the name from some work that 4E had done on his gen1 and they sorted him out with the bits and bobs.

Suspension Parts, they are in Pretoria west at 192 Vom Hagen st 012 327-8898

They were pretty much on the ball and gave me all the parts I needed when I did my front end rebuild.

update on spares is that the guys at suspension parts couldn't help me without me providing them with samples, which is obviously not possible. Fortunately Stephen at Centurion Mitsubishi sourced the part numbers i required and I ordered them, so hopefully we'll be done by the end of the week
