I have noticed a whining noise coming from under / front of my Pajero. It seems to be louder when still cold. When turning the steering left and right the pitch of the noise changes but when in a straight line it remains constant.
What could the problem be?
Gen3 3.5 V6 shorty.
Easy but expensive fix. Disengage wife and re-install girlfriend. Stops the whining.... (At least for a while!) 
If you can feel the grass between your toe's, your flying too low!
