Timing Belt / Water pump leak?
Wonder if you can advise. After a mechanic messed up the timing on a friend 3.5 V6, i tried to assist him getting it going again. Apart from parts missing, and the crank position sensor being damaged by flying metal pieces, there is water coming from a hole for a bolt at the waterpump. Would this be normal if the vehicle has been standing for 2/3 weeks for water to seep here. See photo for reference

Re: Timing Belt / Water pump leak?
I have read many threads on the timing belt replacement. Is there any thing specific I need to watch out for when putting on the new timing belt?
Can you also help me on the sequence of parts when refitting the crank pulley (some parts are missing I think and others have been damaged...). I have some diagrams, but sometimes real live advise/instructions are better :-)

Also how important is the bolt upgrade - and maybe a picture of the correct one? I understand there are 3 possiblities...
