Hi all ,i have problem with my Parero 3,2 DID desil 4x4 the 1st is it uses alot of fuel as 350ks to 60 liters and this is with out towing my 4x4 trailers can anyone tell me what the average liters per 100ks is ,it has been to rob green motors and had new larger exhaust and piggy back uni chip.
the car when not puling trailer 160 170 no problem but when towing 120 max if your luckey .can any one shed any light on this ?? for example i drove to harrysmith wtih 3 peolpe in car joberg to harrysmith (filled up at the wimpy) 60L im sure this is not right .has anyone else had this problem it does not blow any black smoke or grey smoke and doesnt use oil .cheers muzzy

It is a 2.5 ton vehicle with 4x4 transfer box and the wind dynamics of a smoothed out brick! If you push it hard you will get those consumption figures!! Try slowing down to around 120 not towing and 100 when towing and see the magical change in consumption figures.

From your post it aint clear if you are complaining that it is not fast enough or if the fuel usage is too much, but I can tell you this : More speed equal more fuel used! - FACT
