It seems as though this little track won't be there shortly as lots of the dunes were excavated already.
The Triton
I have seen Joe's triton in action in the snow in Rhodes. It was struggling. Now with his lift and muds he made the obstacles look easy and the articulation was more than I thought was available on it.
The Landy
Jean's calm bravery on some of the obstacles was something to behold. The traction control needed some ferocious spinning to start working but worked well non the less.
The Rangie
Just incredible. I now know what the rangie owners are bragging about. It just walked up the obstacles. Got a leak on the front right wheel between tyre and rim. That 4.6 V8 makes a glorious noise!
The Pajero
I didn't deflate enough so struggled a bit more than the others on the dunes. More than enough power. The boost blew off the boost sensors feed and gave me a CEL. A quick reconnect with a drop of superglue sent me on my way again.
My apologies to Wouter. I don't seem to have many photos of his rangie. I think in part it's because Wouter was having so much fun while we were trying other things and partly because I was too busy admiring the capabilities of that rangie and the beautiful sound of that V8!
