Hi
I recently purchased a shogun 3.5 v6 GDI with 72000 miles from the uk and it had transmission flashing light problems,i read a lot about this problem and tried all remedies and finally decided to ignore the problem and took the shogun for a rough ride off-off road for over 500km.The flashing lights stopped and the car started stalling as if it was starved of fuel, then it would not accelerate and would not go beyond 60km/hr and the engine light started flashing on and off but did would go off if you stopped accelerating. It impoved perfomance as the weather got cooler and i noticed that it got bad when the weather was hot.
Just hoping someone out there can help before i spend too much money on mechanics doing guess work.
