High idle after battry removal?

Hi there

I recently disconnected my gen 2's battery and after reconnecting I noticed that it idles at 1500 rpm. I removed and refitted it again,tried a relearn procedure I found on the net but still cant get the rpm down.

Can anyone please help with some advise

Hi.

I had a similar problem with my iO some years ago and, like you, could not reset using the procedure in the Owners Manual. Took it to the local Dealership and they reset with their diagnostic computer in about 2 seconds and at no charge.

Sometimes Dealers do things like that :shock: , but not often :D Maybe worth a try?

just drive it. It will come down after 3-4 days.

Agree with Marius. It will slowly return to normal
