Hi

Just need some feedback on what may be causing my Pajero to smoke heavily at startup. The weird thing is that it only does this every now and then. When I try to start it it does not want to start, the engine chokes and half starts and smokes heavily. After a few tries it starts normally and no smoke. theis happens intermitently. Anybody have any idea as to what may be casing this behaviour?

I had a faulty fuel filte rthat was replaced and it has happened on and off since then
