Hi all hope the New Year has started well for all.
I service her (that is my Pajero) every 7000 Km, changing engine oil, the three filters, checking brakes etc but am not sure on the inside of the engine.
1. Does the 2003 3.2 DID have a timing belt, timing chain or timing gears?
2. Has it hydraulic lifters, or must the tappets be adjusted?
3. Any other service info will be greatly appreciated

No timing belt. It has a timing chain
The lifters are solid and need adjustment every so often.

Whats your Mileage? when your checking the valve clearance check your top camchain guide for wear while you have the Cam cover off. They normally wear out and should be replaced.
