Hi

Does anyone know if it is okay to remove all the boxes on the exhaust pipe? I have removed the cat converter so far, i wnt to remove all the silencer boxes and have them replaced with straight pipes.
Its a 3.5 v6 auto. Any negatives to this, apart from the noise?
Any positives I can expect?

I have got branches on my 3.5 auto and while I was there I got them to put in a free flow for the centre box for more ground clearance. Car sounds better, but no noticeable improvement in performance or fuel economy.

I would be careful as you might burn your exhaust valves as you would not have enough back pressure, and your car would sound like an angry bumble bee... Not sure if it would be a good sound, or be all that good for the engine either as you need some pressure in the exhaust for the engine to perform optimally.
