Hi Guys, very nice and informative forum. I live in Dubai, UAE and drive 1999 3.5L Pajero SWB only for off road (Majorly sand). Recently engine started clanking noise and on further diagnose it seems some internal engine part might have damaged due to age and excessive load under sand off-road driving.

My first question is can i simply and straight away swap 6G74 to 6G75 without any complication? If yes then do i need to buy 6G75 motor with ECU, wiring loom, Gear box, MAF etc or simple motor swap is good?

My second question is how about swapping to LS400 1UZ FE engine, read one of your members big thread here and got impressed and little confused with work required.

6G75 + wiring + computer + 6 speed gearbox = 2500 USD

1UZ FE + wiring + comp + gearbox cost here 1200 USD

Leaving the cost aside, i need your opinion in which way is more straight forward and hassle free that can build reliable, powerful and efficient setup?

Thanks in advance.
