Yellow oil light

I noticed this morning that the yellow oil light (oil pressure if I am not mistaken) came on whilst the Pajero 3.2 was still running cold. It stayed on for a while and then went of.

The car does not use oil, nor leak any. What can this be?

yellow oil light is low oil level

red is oil pressure

NEVER drive the car a single meter if the red oil light comes on.

If it is a 4M41 diesel this is quite common.
Lots of threads about it.
It almost certainly happened just after you started going up a hill when the engine was cold and went out just after you tapped off after suffering heart palpitations thinking your engine was about to blow.
Add oil to 3mm above the dip stick level mark - problem solved.
