Morning Folks
Sorry for the late response...I'm a little technologically challenged! I currently manage a lodge with my Wife up here in Malawi that we spent the last few years building for a British investor who is an ex client of mine from Botswana days when I was a concession manager for a large safari company there.
So yes, in short, Living the dream!
However as glorious as all jobs may seem, they do eventually become just that...jobs. I am fortunate enough however to have grown up with amazing parents who had itchy feet and a passion for conservation and Tourism. My initial childhood playgrounds included places like Makamisa, a wilderness area in Umfolozi Game Reserve where my father was section ranger and later such places as the st Lucia wetlands, Pilansberg, Greater Kruger, The Zambezi in Zim, Botswana and now Malawi. There is a smattering of South Africa in the mix as well but the majority of my adult life now has been spent in Southern Africa beyond SA's borders.
I am a natal boy, GO SHARKS, born in Durbs by the sea..quite literally I might add and currently have a residence in Southport.
That's all for now!
Cheers
Zane
