Hi,

I have just imported a 2007 Pajero 3 litre from Japan and need to change the language on the unit from Japanese to English.

Vehicle details are as follows:
2007 Mitsubishi Pajero VR
CHS: V83W-0000840
Eng: 6G72TG1252

The navigation system ex factory fitted is a Mitsibishi HDD Car Navigation system NR-HZ700CD.

Is there anyone in SA who can reprogram the unit to English and load the Southern African maps?

Thanks

Geoff

I won't be surprised if an electrician asks less to install a nuvi permanently.

Thanks for the reply. Where would I buy a new unit and then have it fitted. I have checked out some of the ads in the motoring mags and the price for a replacement unit works out at R16 000 which is expensive I think. Any ideas on this?

Most likely not the most preferred advice  ...the screen is to small for proper view from the back seats.

Geoff - did you try a Mitsubishi Dealer ? They should be able to re-programme the Navigation System into any language "originally" installed when sold. Same should apply for the maps. It might cost you some bucks but for sure much cheaper than any new unit....

You'll probably find that they wont want to help you seeing its an import. I would post the same question on the Ozzi and UK Pajero forums.
