Error Code 92 - Throttle Stepper Motor

My 1998 3.5 LWB blister had this error code and kept going into limp home mode. We traced this to the throttle stepper motor that had dry and tight bearings. The strain on the little motor had made it overheat and one of the coils had burned out. A little Q20 on the bearings released them to turn freely again and I have tried without success to get the coils rewound. Most shops tell me "it is too small". I then tried to get a new one but agents will only sell me the entire throttle assembly for R9,500 plus! They allege this is due to "calibration requirements". I query this as I swapped the stepper motor from one of my other Pajeros and it works perfectly. I am now going to do a search for a second hand one.
Having had the battle of diagnosing the error and having the agents turn me away with the excuse that my Pajero is a "Grey" import (true), their diagnostics would not work on it, I decided to buy my own "X431 iDiag Auto Diag Scanner for Android" from China and also the entire set of the different connector plugs. I can now do my own Error Detection on virtually any vehicle ever made, and do the resets. If any body in the Club needs this sort of help they should contact me. 0846082026.
And, of course, is anybody knows of a second hand stepper motor, they will have made me very happy.
