Sensor NE (principal)

Hi Everyone, greetings from Central America!
Anyone know what sensor is "Sensor NE(principal)" in my Mitsubishi Montero/Pajero DI-D 2002. That is what the scanner said.
The symptoms:
1. Acceleration goes up non stop until I release the pedal.
2. Once I put it in gear turns off.
3. An older symptom: speed measure was wrong when going at Kms.60 it read Kms. 80 and so.
