Hi all,

I would like to know the approximate maximum theoretical rpm that the mechanical fan can run on the above engine if there were no slip on the fan clutch.

To estimate that I need the outer diameter of the crankshaft pulley, or better still the nominal OD that the belt runs at over this pulley.

Is there anyone with a 3.2 4M41 out of their vehicle that could measure this for me? (Otherwise I will need to visit a breakers yard)

I have just gone out now to measure the O/D of the crankshaft twin pulleys (of my 2006 Pajero 3.2 DiD Gen3) with vernier calipers and it is 154mm exactly. The O/D of the single-belt front pulley driving the A/C pump is 144 mm exactly.
