Hi all, I am brand new to the forum and looking for some words of wisdom from seasond Pajero owners, I have never owned a Pajero,(have owned Landies and Patrols (still have a patrol as my weekend toy)my wife says she likes the look of the blister fender model (1998 to 2000 am I right?) This would be a second car for her, she has a plat car but sometimes needs a seven seater as a mums taxi. What should I be looking at paying for these models, what problems to look out for, what mileage do they do before I would have problems with motor/gearbox, fuel consumption, diesel or petrol do they come in an auto (I think she has forgotten what a gear lever looks like!!) Ect Ect any info would be great and does anyone know of any for sale within the forum

Welcome to the forum. We hope you will soon have a Pajero to boot.

Those Blister Fenders are lovely cars. They are really well known for reliability, but as the years mount the service/use history becomes very important.

There is an option between the 3.5V6 petrol motor and a 2.8TDi motor. There are automatic models out there, but manual was more common.

There was a lovely example on sale recently on this forum, but it got snapped up quickly.

Watch this forum, Auto Trader and Gumtree - the right one will come along.

When you find one, give the guys here a shout and they will happily chip in with advice and other usefull stuff.
