Hi, my first...
Hi, My name is Werner born in 1972, currently in Centurion. I'm Afrikaans Married 21 years with three boys 19,11 and 3.
I'm also a new member of the 4x4 Community Forum.

I own a 1967 Land Rover Series 2A, 1970 Rover P6 3500 and just bought my pre-owned 1998 Gen 2 Pajero in Cape Town that I drove back to Centurion. Just did a trip this week to the Waterberge and did most of it off road.
Other than noisy lifters on start up and a flashing CD/L light all seems good. Just ordered new runner boards from LAS in Centurion as the old standard ones are showing their age.

Plan to replace the tyres with Goodyear Wrangler next month and to do the Ironman suspension thing over the next few months. Any advice welcome :)

I am selling my Landy as I'm running out of space but did do a trip through "Die Hel" then Baviaanskloof to Kei Mouth over the pont into the Wild Coast all the way to Margate and the Oribi gorge back home. 4,500 hard and SLOW kilometers :)
Landy trip, ignore the picture date this was only one month ago.

Although new to the 4x4 world me and my family are really enjoying it BIG time.

Great to be here!

Some beautifull and soulfull vehicles in your stable.

Off course the Pajero has a Spirit! Not a soul. A Spirit of Adventure and a Calm and reliable Spirit, all in one! But you must know something about that otherwise you would not have bought that lovely example of Pajerodom!

Welcome here and enjoy. We might even drive past each other as we are both from Centurion. My Pajero is currently undergoing a internal organ transplant, but once done and you see a Gen3 Pajero with CATS sparewheel wave like crazy :-)

Thanks Cats, will do :)

Do you have someone you trust that look after your Pajero's services or do you DIY ?

DIY on the small stuff and so far Mitspro on the in-between stuff. Big stuff I try and get the specialist in each case. Dealers aint so bad either. My opinion, but I have built up a relationship over many years.

Ok, sound great. Small for me is a oil and oil filter, air filter change!
As I just bought my first 360,000 km Pajero I need someone to look the car over and advice on what need to be replaced/fixed and /or serviced. The cam belt and pulleys have been replaced/serviced 2,500km ago. It was 500km when I bought her but I drove from Cape Town where I bought her to Centurion 1,500km and did a trip last week to the Waretberge of 1,000km.

Do you have anyone that you can recommend to do this for me?
I saw an article in the latest WegRy mag. that covered some points that I can cover in this next service. There is of course the noisy lifters, but on mine they quite down after a few seconds/minutes.

Thanks
