Pajero is loosing power

i have a 2.5 diesel pajero, YOM:1993 with odometer reading at 150k. it has lost power that it barely moves over an obstacle. what can i do to boost its power and performance?

Best fix would be to install a 6G74

my engine is a 4D56. would a 6G74 fit properly
