Good day everyone.I am busy rebuilding my pajero motor and I read somewhere about the timing,how much it should be advanced etc,but cant remember where I read it. Could someone please advise me on this please

The distributor usually points to the heater hoses at the firewall when at TDC To set the timing you must connect the brown terminal to earth and set the advance to 5 BTDC The black connector can be connected to 12v to let the fuel pump run. good way to see if the pump works this way.
