Mmmm. Ladas are very underated but sometimes temperamental with that Russian twist if I understand correctly? Sounds like you havw rigged yours out nicely! Welcome here. Keep looking. The right Pajero is out there waiting for you!

Thanks for the welcome.

Yes they are very underrated . With good ground clearance, short wheel base, good articulation and light weight they are quite competent offroad. What lets them down in the communist era build quality. The best description is that they are always broken yet never break down.
