Some company's are advertizing the benefit of fitting an extra filter to a DiD(diesel)

I agree that that sounds good as precautionary measures going to remote areas and having to use dirty or diesel with water in

My question is what microns does the standard system filter and does it hve limitation of not being able to filter all the dirt out?

I have been warned about inserting a auxiliary filtering device on the Gen 4. Apparently the systems fuel pressure is altered???
