Gen3 DiD stuck on Hwy..

Pls move my post to the proper thread.
Hello, Id like to introduce myself first: I come from Poland, I appreciate this forum as most valuable source of info and helping people, oriented on solving the issues rather than collecting potential clients to a one, politically correct workshop ))
I own Gen3 2004 Did/208 kkm and -like most of us-experience some 'strange' problems most probably related to diesel high pressure fuel pump: Zexel VRZ. Being aware of the issue of peeling off internal surface of the fuel tank and fragile pump I've replaces fuel tank and intake/inlet pipe lately though I've had some white smoking on startup before, mostly when hot. Short after replacing tank, pipe and fuel filter I ran for vacations when strange problems with starting arose: white exhaust smoking rapidly increased, starter stopped for a moment but eventually started the engine - these problems while hot only.
Finally ,after refuelling on hwy I parked the cars and...that was it.
I can hear only 'clack' of solenoids but starter does not crank at all. 'Morse method' error code reading showed code 21 and 51 /I have EGR blanked but connected so why error?/. After fetching the car home I read the codes again and Check and Diff blinking-so potentially no code. I am really pissed off for what i had to pay for carrying Pajero home but this errors are strange to me anyway.
What I have learned from other forums: poor fuel and debris unfiltered(sic!) plus fractions of internal fuel tank surface are NOT being properly filtered by default and collect in the pump: firstly in pump head, then flow to the main body. After some time they discalibrate and destroy precise moving elements(v.low assembly tolerances/ - pump needs overhaul-known subject-big expenses etc etc.
-white smoke points to improperly dosed fuel. BUT maybe is this rather a question of faulty speed sensor system(code 21) or crankshaft position sensor? I am a bit lost, if anybody could help I 'd be greatly indebted.
ZS
PS. Pls excuse my english as I rarely have opportunity to make use of it.
