Well Cats, he did abandon the mud banks in 1982. That does mean he has Africa in his veins by now.
Steve, are you one of the Hornsey clan from Yorkshire?
Steve, are you one of the Hornsey clan from Yorkshire?
Hi Regarding the Yorkshire Clan no at least not to my knowledge.
I was born and brought up in Wales. I normally go across once a year to visit family and friends and I can't wait to return to South Africa. My daughter has joined us only twice there once when she was around 5 and another time when she was around 14. She now refuses to join us as she loves South Africa. I do agree with you however there are a small minority of people here in SA who do try to make things very uncomfortable for us pale skins. With the exception of that and the crime / corruption South Africa is one of the nicest countries that I have been too, hence me having stayed here for almost 34 years.
