Namaqua 4x4 Eco Trail

I'm planning to do the Namaqua 4x4 Eco trail in September. It runs from Pella to Vioolsdrift, then from there to Alexander Bay.
The information available seems to be fairly scetchy for the second part of the trail (from Vioolsdrift to Alexander Bay).
Has anyone been on the trail to give me some pointers? Some websites suggest there may be more than one way to do the second part of the trail.
Some suggestions as to any detours?

We have done the first section a couple of times now and we have always wanted to do the second section so I am keen to hear about it as well. Subscribed.

Here is as good a place as any to start.
I worked in that area, but 30 years ago. That whole route is firmly embedded into my bucket list.

I have now gone to the trouble to actually read the whole article.
It seems the bucket list nomination is only the first part - Pofadder, past Goodhouse to Fioolsdrif.
The second part is simply following the public dirt roads and can surely not take you too long. The country side is your typical mountain desert (spectacular and I love it), but the only driving skill required is to try and relax your shoulder muscles as you punish your car over hours of corrugation.

They did a write up of each of the sections.

Done the whole trip! It is grand

Give yourself a lot of time, as the average speed on some sections was 20km per hour.
