Intercooler relocation on Gen3

Has anyone done a relocation of the intercooler on the Gen 3 diesel to the front of the radiator?
The stock placement seems very prone to damage and does not have great airflow at moderate speeds.

Morning. I can't help with your question but an alternative is to buy a Stofpad4x4 bashplate, it is 4mm steel and is made very strong. Maybe that's the alternative to messing with the pipes and also restricting the radiator airflow.
