Pajero Owners Club of South Africa

My Pajero Sport ran perfect. Does not miss or anything. Now and then the car cuts out at idle. I thought it was diesel filter or air filter, and replaced the same (even before the next service). Car still did the same. I removed my Race chip as I though this could cause the problem, but to no avail. Car still cuts out at idle. While driving I can not notice any problem at all. No power loss nothing.

Anybody has some advise or experienced the same? How do I fix this?

I had the exact same on my pajero DiD (2008) but never found the cause as I sold it. Diagnostic found nothing. Subscribed here to find out if there is a root cause.

I have a diagnostic tool, but as you say, it does not show anything wrong. ARGHHHHHHHHH

Maybe just the idle speed setting?

I took my "Mislukke Bussie" to Hennie @ High View Autobody in Randburg (083 633 7131). He did some "stuff" to it and it is now PERFECT. Even lighter on fuel again also. It drives like a new Pajero. It has not yet died once at idle, and the idle seems smoother.

Hi all

I also commented on this issue on another thread - https://www.pajeroclub.co.za/forum/view ... 326#p47326

However, in my case the stalling issue I was experiencing turned out to be a faulty suction control valve.
