Hi everyone.

I seem to have a vibration when pulling off. This morning when putting the car in reverse there was a thunk sound and the car reversed fine. Putting it into first gear the car felt as if i was driving on ice. I stopped. Tried reversing again and it was fine. Put it in first and everthing seemed fine.

I have tried pulling off in first with the handbrake up and everything went fine. In 4x4 is all seems fine. Then after all the testing i but it back into 2x4 and get that same driving on ice feeling.

What could cause this?

I had similar experience?
The Dual mass clutch plate? was replaced as precaution before a long Namibia trip ( Kms at about 260 000 at the time)
Replacement did not make huge difference?
Was advised subsequently that heavy vehicle /Dual mass can have sight shudder if you pull off ride the clutch in a particular way?

Im not a technophobe so just a thought.....may not be same issue,
