G’day fellas
I recently purchased a Gen 3 (2000) 3.5 GDI specifically to turn it into a bush vehicle. Here’s the problem:
- We are going to be adding a significant amount of weight to the vehicle and driving it in the most interesting parts of Botswana (mostly).
- But it has lost a lot of power, currently running at about 75kw at the wheels and not a he’ll of a lot more torque.
-So, I’d like to juice it up a bit before we begin kitting it out.
I’m considering all of the obvious options, but this is my first Pajero, so I’d like to know if anyone has had any particular successes in adding power to their petrol Pajero that I might consider first.
