Hello guys.. ok so I have a 97 pajero 3.5 lwb which I popped the motor on.. we lost coolant and cooked her.. but am sitting with a couple choices on the repair.. first is to repair.. heads are still fine but block needs to be resleved and bored plus new rings,big ends etc.. then option 2 was to refit a second hand motor FROM Japan auto spares ( which is looking more and more like the route we will go) however I am wondering what would be involved in fitting the 3.2did motor question is how easy is it to fit and would it be advisable?
First thing that comes to mind is that you need the ECU to run the 3.2 motor. Second is that your diff ratios are going to be wrong.
