I am needing to replace my brakes all round (discs + pads). I have followed the recommendations on this forum and have the following quotes:
All VAT Inclusive:
Front discs R 3 849 (from Powerbrake)
Front brake pads R 1 650 (from Powerbrake)
Rear discs R 3 221 (form Mitsubishi NMI Umhlanga)
Rear brake pads R1 588 (form Mitsubishi NMI Umhlanga)
Labour R 1 300 (local Supa Quik)
TOTAL R 11 609
Seems like a lot. Any suggestions / recommendations on reducing these costs? Not interested in skimming - I have been struggling with the shuddering problem for some time now, and need to replace all round.
