Pajero starting problem

Good day All
I drive a 2005 Pajero 3.2 Did GLS SWB - 221000km on the clock. Never any issues.
During the past two weeks when I turn the key in the ignition all dashboard lights light up, but there is nothing more. No sound, no click, no crank. Then after about 5 - 10 times the engine starts and no issues whatsoever. The vehicle runs smoothly and no jerking or anything. This only happens in the morning at the first start attempt - the rest of the day the engine starts at the first attempt. Any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

PS: And 'obviously' also the rusted sliding roof frame! Eish.
