Hi Friends.

I am writing as I am seeking advice. I have a 1999 model Pajero 3lv6 3 door. I want to modify the van for camping purposes. One of the things I would like to do and that is take out the two sliding windows and put in two tilt up doors made out of aluminium. You have seen them on bakkies with canopies they normally have two latches in each door. I also want to take out the back window and fit the aluminium chequered plate. I have made some inquiries at some 4x4 dealers who do conversions and they have all told me bluntly that they wont do the job.

So my Question is has anybody done such a conversion? Is there anybody in Cape Town that does this? What sort of cost is involved? I am also planning to take out the back seat and build a deck in the back with drawers under the deck. Roof rack is also on the cards.
