Been reading these posts and have gathered alot of info with my pajero .
I have a 3.2did Gen4 lwb 2008..
308000kms on the clock
Love it but it's fuel consumption is ridiculous average 5km per litre that's like 18l per 100 around town and not really that much better on the highway although I drive 90% in the suburbs.
Its just been serviced
Ive had it mapped by Saftrade
Egr delete but not blanked yet
I've changed the MAF sensor
Removed the cat fitted a freeflow
Cleaned the map sensor and replaced the little pipe from inlet manifold today it was cracked. Taken it for a 10km spin still 5.7km per litre.
I still need to clean the inlet manifold but haven't got to that yet.
Since the mapping it's got serious power gains so no issues there. Prior it was very flat.
What next I feel I need to go to a mitso specialist I'm Durban based?
Any bright ideas
Do I just have a dud vehicle?
