2009 Pajero Sport single DIN

Greetings to all
My 2009 Pajero Sport has an aftermarket single DIN Sony radio/CD fitted. I wish to get the steering wheel controls functional again- any advice will be welcomed. If you have a working OEM unit that is gathering dust somewhere please let me Know.
