Date - Saturday 6th March 2010 Time - 14:00 - 17:00 (or earlier depending on each person) Where - Protea Eco Adventures located inside Krugersdorp Game reserve Cost - Preliminary cost of R150 per vehicle Bring - Your Pajero, your family including all the kids, some snacks and a Spirit of Adventure(no man leave the Captain at home ). Bring another fellow Pajero driver with you on the day even if they are not yet part of the Pajero Owners Club.
The idea is to meet each other at the venue at 14:00 where you will receive some complimentary cooldrinks/coffee/tea and then go on a short game drive where we will also see some Lions with their new born cubs. Returning back to base those that wish so can make use of the 4x4training track. Qualified training instructors will be at hand to assist where needed and let one know your vehicle a little better. Protea is an Accredited Mitsubishi Xplorers Training venue. Go here for some details http://www.passport2adventure.co.za
We are in negotiations with some dealers to also send some of their Pajero clients to join us and also possibly sponsor a bush braai or finger food in the afternoon.
Please note that we will be using Protea Eco Adventure facilities and as such must abide by their rules and regulations so no alcohol allowed while driving and keep to existing tracks. Also we must adhere to the instructors guidance.
Please lets make an effort to join in this afternoon of fun to put some faces to names. To get an idea for catering requirements I need to get a hands up of who will be coming. I might also need a monetary commitment of R150 per vehicle at a later stage but will call for this when required.

Friends of Hwange
The Pajero Owners Club of South Africa would like to associate itself with the Friends of Hwange Trust, and encourages its members to to do the same. Hwange, during Zimbabwe's hayday as a wildlife destination, was their premier park. Now with all the problems in Zimbabwe, Hwange has fallen into a state of "disprepair". No tourists = no money for the park, and the wildlife are the ultimate losers.
To this end the Friends of Hwange Trust was set up to primarily correct the main problem in the park, the lack of functioning boreholes. I have included the latest newsletter from the Friends of Hwange Trust. Please support this great cause.

I welcome you to Pajero Owners Club of South Africa (POCSA), the one stop location for all owners of the iconic Mitsubishi Pajero in South Africa.
We are a special interest group where owners of the Pajero, Pajero iO and Pajero Sport, of whatever vintage, can share their passion for their vehicles. Even if you don't own a Pajero, or even a Mitsubishi, you are still free to take part in the Pajero culture. We are not an official club, and at this stage there is no real intention to become one yet.
In order to join click here. Should you wish to get involved in other ways, provide your input, or want to advertise, please complete our contact form for more details.
Regards
