Thank you for your tips this is the first Pajero I got a few weeks ago for a good price bearing in mind that there will be issues. The Spanjaard does one just remove the air cleaner and spray it in.I can not find the MAP sensor do you by any chance know where it is

The MAF sensor is on top of the air filter. It has the wires running into it. The MAP sensor is normally on top, next to the diesel filter, and is a small black sensor with wires running into the top and a pipe running from it down to the inlet manifold. It is also a good idea to clean out the pipe, as it can also get blocked.
