2004 Pajero 3.2 Electronics
Hey all. New to the Pajero world. Just got a very nice looking 2004 diesel 3.2. I need some issues helped with please. The display does not keep time, although the date seems to keep up. Is there an internal battery maybe that needs to be change? Also im battling to get the barometer and altimeter setup. Any help regarding this? Thanks guys

Hi Wiesbang
The radio can be set to auto update time but this does not work in SA. You have to disable auto time update
On some models:
You hold in the sound menu for a few secs, then you'll get an option that say's CT off/on. Switch it off, voila! No more wrong time.
2nd option
Process: turn ignition on so dashboard lights come on. Turn Radio off using on off button on radio. Hold in channel 4 button and at the same time push in on off button and the CT will disappear. (Keep holding in the pwr button till it beeps!)

Re: 2004 Pajero 3.2 Electronics
I think he is referring to the display unit above the radio?
I do not believe it has an internal battery as each time I disconnect my cars battery the unit resets completely and I have to set time and date again.
Sorry not of much help here. Hope someone else can assist.
Cheers

I had the same problem he refers to not related to battery disconnect. You set the clock correct and the next day it is at adifferent time. It was fixed the way I described

Thanks for this. I did not know the radio and the display unit above the radio were connected.hend wrote:I had the same problem he refers to not related to battery disconnect. You set the clock correct and the next day it is at adifferent time. It was fixed the way I described
