Suspension Spacers

Sun Sep 13, 2020 5:27 pm

Hi Guys
I recently received rear suspension spacers from Stofpad for my NM Pajero but I'm having a tough time figuring out how to install them or rather how they are supposed to sit. I have attached images for both the spacer and the springs on the car. Any help will be appreciated

They go on the top of the rear coils with the narrow part going into the coil

You don’t need the compressing clamps, what you need to do is remove the bottom shock mounting bolt and lower the lower control arm down until you can easily remove the coil and insert the space above the coil

Kurt. The Bolt in the spring mount is not in the center but at an offset to the left, while the whole in the spacers is in the center. Wont that be a problem?

Something with those spacers doesn’t look right. The ones I had from Stofpad years ago had a very large opening in the Centre so the offset bolt was not an issue.

Hey there! Think those are Fortuner spacers if my memory serves
