I just bought ATE brake pads for my 3.5 V6 Gen 2.5 = 1x set @ R571.00 - Disc, & 1 set @ R355.84 - Disc = not overly expensive I thought, after seeing what was paid a few years back - prev. owner's receipts, for the genuine pads. ATE used to have a good rating last time I enquired.
Thought I would also enquire about the discs, front and rear - was told they are also avail (to be ordered on request) @ appr R380 - R450 ea. Not too bad, when contemplating to skim the old ones (suggested by mechanic to possibly be a bit unsafe) @ 1/2 to 3/4 the price of BRAND NEW !!!
