Hi, I am sitting with a dilema regarding witch model to buy. I will trade in my old Paje and Lexus to buy one of the two. I am looking for a diesel auto with 4x4. Your views please.
Hi Grootvoet,
I've just changed from a Fortuner diesel to the Pajero diesel, total different drive. The Pajero is a bigger car with much better suspension in my view. Totally solid on corrugated roads and a much softer ride given the independant suspension. The Fortuner on the other hand has a bit more direct power given the body weight and has awsome 4x4 abilities. Fantastic family car with loads of packing space if you take out the 3rd row seats. It all depents on what you are looking for, both vehicles are brilliant in my view. The Fortuner has better fuel consumption, on average about 1,5km per litre better. Tough choice, good luck!

Pajero.
Great suspension. Proven engine. Legendary reliability.
The only thing counting for the tuna fish is its resale value as society is still stuck in the whole toyota thing. Sheep!

Fortuner vs GLS is an unfair comparison IMHO!

So, if the condition, age, km & price is the same, the obvious choice is the Pajero!JohanV wrote:+14ePajero wrote:The Toyota-Mitsubishi models to compare are:

Hi there
I had a Fortuner V6,and replaced it for a Paj V6(I despise a diesel
),although a had a 3.2 DiD for a few weeks, and petrol is King in my books
Back on topic, the Fortuner holds no candle next to the Pajero!!
Two totally different segments of motoring. There can be no realistic comparison between the two. Apples and oranges.
