I have been looking around for key-alike locks and was not prepared to pay just under R900 for key alike padlocks as I need 13 for my trailer. I decided on key combo locks @R30 each, they look tough, and fit perfectly (opted for the 30mm locks), they also have key-alike at R30 each, but I just know I will never have the key nearby when I need it, which will just be a pain.
What have you done to lock your trailer and all it's hatches?

I have mostly key alike on my locks, but not all. The combination locks seem like a good idea but I am always worried they get stuck with sand and dust ingress. I think quality ones will probably be up to the task and yours look pretty good.
One thing to consider is to maybe wrap some bicycle inner tube, cut up, around each lock to prevent it from chaving away while swaying when on the go.

Thanks CATS, that is great idea, I was just wondering what was the best thing to do to stop the dings and chaffing, should also help with the dust ingress, Thanks!
Combination locks maybe not the best idea, rather consider key alike locks, even with the tube over the locks they still have alot of sand ingress, which will cause lock failure after time. Already getting sticky after the first trip, will need to clean and lube to ensure longevity as far as possible. Without the tube covering this will not last long at all.
David,
I use the lock set supplied by Conqueror and main reason is that they are small and therefore easy the break off should you have one that is not working .
Another thing is that they do not touch the body and therefore not shaving takes place.
It is very expensive but in two years had not one lock sieze up . I use chain lubricant spray grease and seems to work a charm. Regular oil will prevent them to seize up.
I like the idea of the combination but with my daughter being in a school hostel for her high school term we had spend a lot of money on locks especially the combination types. We have tried every possible type we could get our hands on but always had problems. eventually ended up with stadard locks and a lot of keys cut and all worked out fine.
I think the nature of these combination locks is that they consist of a lot of small parts which can be troublesome

read somewhere once to use a latex glove. Cut off a finger and slip it over the lock......
It doesnt work. If the sun doesnt perish it in a short space of time, then it ends up all gooey and sticky....
Bicycle tube much better
