Noice when pulling away/stopping in slow traffic
Pajero SWB 3.2 DiD (2011) - when pulling away/slowing down in creepy crawly traffic I hear, and can feel, a movement in the suspension or braking system of the vehicle which is quite irritating. Nothing though when eccelarating normally - any suggestions what the cause could be? Regards Louis

Also check if this only happens with half tank fuel as well. It has been mentioned in the past that a thud is felt on SWB models if the tank is only half full with the fuel splashing around. :?

I think you are hitting the nail on the head, tks CATS, now that you mention it, it is getting worse when the tank level drops! Regards Louis
Re: Noice when pulling away/stopping in slow traffic
Louis, CATS is probably on the right track. I was perplexed by this for a few weeks. Turns out to be the fuel tank when full, and continues to about 3 quarters. you feel a bit of a bump when slowing down and then let the brake pedal go, the fuel sort of sloshes around the tank moves with it. Also happens if you just lightly tap the accelerator as if to move forward a few meters in traffic. Mine is a LWB, so not only SWB are affected.

Don't think there is anything to be done about it actually. I've come to appreciated it as an indicator that my business isn't completely failing as i can still afford a full tank! :?

Most appreciated Guys, I will stop worrying about it now, probably even enjoying the sensation as the fuel level drops, realising there is actually nothing wrong! Rgds Louis
