How did you mount it to the existing runners? u bolts? 10mm?

8mm bolt and nut, that slides into the grove of the Roof Bar.

Yes 8mm Stainless Steel x 40mm (or the desired length) as well as Stainless Steel lock nuts

Where did you source the aluminium bars? And you mentioned pop rivets - i assume you used them rather than the connect-it connectors?
