Gen 2 lift
Hi gents im looking to lift the suspension and body of my gen2 swb 2.8 paj. where do i look for the kits and how much can i expect to pay?
y ultimate goal is to have it on higher ground, for now im not planning to fit 33's due to the cost. maybe later i will if i don't sell her for a lwb or a gen3. on another tone how much can one expect to pay for sump, dif, tank guards?

thanks in advance.
Re: Gen 2 lift
Cheapest way is what I'm looking at, for the rear the Nissan patrol coils does 20-30mm. Remember the only way to get the diff higher is tires. I can have coils manufactured for about R2k. For the front you can wind up the torsion bars.
I'm waiting for a reply on ball joint spacers which apparently doesn't put as much strain on the torsion bars, these I'll manufacture myself if I hear good things.
There is quite a bit of reading to be done on the subject, as the cv's will work harder and I'm not sure about shocks etc.
A suspension lift kit(shocks, coils and torsion bars) will cost +-R13k.
For under car protection you could speak to uys on 44x4community forum, he does stofpad4x4 and it looks nice, I don't know to cost though

The most you will get in front is 25mm by adjusting the torsion bars and you'll have to shave your bump stops.

I have OME shocks, coils and torsion bars. Negligible lift with a nose down stance.

The only way to get anything bigger than a 32" tyre is with a body lift. Sounds easy enough to achieve until you have a look under the vehicle to see all the wiring and hoses that need lengthening as well as bringing up the radiator and bumper mounting points.

If you decide to go ahead with a body lift then check Ebay for lifting kits. I have seen them available there in the past.
